Built on Legacy. Reinvented for a
New Era.

Pangea is a creative space where the voice finds its place. Founded in 2013 by Edgar Paredes (1958–2021) and his son Randy Paredes, it was born from a shared dream: to transform a talent academy into a creative studio where people could learn, record, and live from their voice.

That dream, built with vision and passion, grew into a vibrant community. In 2021, Edgar’s illness and passing brought a temporary closure—but not an end. Today, under Randy’s leadership and with Andrea by his side, Pangea Studios is reborn with renewed energy, carrying forward its mission to inspire, create, and provide a home for every voice and idea.

Today, Randy Wallz (Paredes) leads Pangea alongside his partner Andrea, honoring his father’s legacy while pushing it forward into the future. What began as a traditional radio-rooted dream is now a modern creative ecosystem — built for the podcast generation, the voice-first creator, and the content visionaries of today.

MANIFESTO

MANIFESTO

We believe in the power of voice.
Not the perfect voice.
Not the loudest voice.
But the one that dares to show up.

We create with intention.
We build community with care.
We amplify stories that matter.

This is your space.
Your people.
Your moment.
Your Voice Matters.

The story of Pangea cannot be told without the life and voice of Edgar Paredes, a pioneer and beloved figure in Venezuelan broadcasting.

From the early 1980s, Edgar’s voice marked historic milestones in radio. He inaugurated the signal of RI 1260 AM, helped launch Radio Metropolitana—the first AM Stereo station in Latin America—and became the first voice heard on major FM stations like Éxitos 107.3 (now La Mega) and Hits 100 FM. During those years, he was part of Unión Radio’s legendary team, sharing the airwaves with some of the most respected broadcasters of his generation.

As technology evolved, Edgar continued to innovate. He embraced the digital era by launching Amiga Radio Web, while sustaining his iconic show El All Star de la Salsa for over 28 consecutive years. In 2013, together with his son Randy, he shaped what would become one of his greatest legacies: Pangea FM and Pangea Plus, platforms that fused tradition, music, and creativity.

On December 31, 2021, Edgar passed away after his battle with cancer. Though his voice fell silent, his spirit lives on—resonating in the community he built and the vision he entrusted to his family.
